   Habitats characterised by species tolerant of snow cover for most of the year are distinguished (path = <strong>Yes</strong>). Note that snow patch habitats are treated as complex X05 comprising units of E4.1and F2.1.

Question f04 :   Ericaceous and other evergreen vegetation?
   Evergreen vegetation largely dominated by ericoids is separated (path = <strong>Yes</strong>) from deciduous scrubs developed in areas sheltered by snow from wind and frost. These latter areas are normally characterised by the permanent presence of moving water, allowing turnover of nutrients and preventing accumulation of mor.
