Description (English)

Forests of southeastern Central Europe and of Eastern Europe, within the range of the Carpinion illyricum, of the Fagion moesiacum and of the Fagion dacicum, as well as of areas east of the range of Fagus sylvatica, dominated by Carpinus betulus, alone or with a small admixture of other species, more widespread and developed than those of unit G1.A31, sometimes primary.
