Forests of southeastern Central Europe and of Eastern Europe, within the range of the [Carpinion illyricum], of the [Fagion moesiacum] and of the [Fagion dacicum], as well as of areas east of the range of [Fagus sylvatica], dominated by [Carpinus betulus], alone or with a small admixture of other species, more widespread and developed than those of unit G1.A31, sometimes primary.
