Mount Etna Betula stands
Description (English)
Endemic Betula aetnensis formations of Mount Etna lavas, limited to the 1200-2000 metre level, mostly within the 1600-1750 metre range, at northern to eastern exposures. The accompanying cortège includes Adenocarpus complicatus, Genista aetnensis, Juniperus hemisphaerica, Festuca circummediterranea.
