Description ( English )

Endemic [Betula aetnensis] formations of Mount Etna lavas, limited to the 1200-2000 metre level, mostly within the 1600-1750 metre range, at northern to eastern exposures. The accompanying cortège includes [Adenocarpus complicatus], [Genista aetnensis], [Juniperus hemisphaerica], [Festuca circummediterranea].
