Description (English)

Fumaroles of the major area of active volcanism of the western Mediterranean basins, located on the Italian peninsula and its small islands, in particular those of Isola d'Ischia, with communities that include Cyperus polystachyos; other gas vent manifestations of the same region of volcanism are listed in the next two sections.
