Ecomorphosis of striped Posidonia oceanica meadows
Description (English)
The striped Posidonia oceanica meadows facies is found at depth 0 - 5 metres. It appears as fairly narrow ribbons that can be several dozen metres long. These ribbons are separated by stretches of dead mat colonised by Cymodocea nodosa and/or Caulerpa spp.
