Description (English)

Communities of low shrubby pioneers invading the herbaceous formations of units C3.551 and C3.552 on gravel deposits rich in fine silt of montane and northern boreal streams with an alpine, summer-high, flow regime. Myricaria germanica, Chamaerion dodonai and Salix spp. are characteristic. Vegetation may include the alliances Salicion incanae and Salicion eleagno-daphnoidis.
