Grassy formations of western Black Sea coastal and inland solonetz and solonchak-solonetz soils, constituted by Puccinellia festuciformis and its subspecies (Puccinellia festuciformis ssp. convoluta, Puccinellia festuciformis ssp. intermedia) or Puccinellia distans (Puccinellia limosa), in monospecific swards or accompanied by other halophytes including Hordeum hystrix, Crypsis aculeata, Suaeda maritima, Camphorosma monspeliaca, Camphorosma annua, Salicornia spp., Limonium spp., Spergularia spp.
