Low scrub of the steppe and southern wooded steppe zones of the Ponto-Sarmatic region, characteristic in particular of microdepressions, dominated by Caragana frutex, Spiraea crenifolia, Prunus tenella (Amygdalus nana), Prunus spinosa, Prunus fruticosa or Crataegus monogyna.
