Arborescent matorral of siliceous substrates of the Iberian peninsula, France, Italy, the large western Mediterranean islands and Mediterranean North Africa dominated by [Quercus ilex] or [Quercus rotundifolia], usually with [Erica arborea] and [Arbutus unedo].
