Spectacular formations dominated by the endemic shrub [Ononis speciosa] with [Bupleurum gibraltarium], [Thymus capitatus], [Micromeria graeca], [Phlomis purpurea ssp. purpurea], [Ulex parviflorus ssp. willkommii], [Genista umbellata ssp. equisetiformis], [Calicotome villosa], [Satureja obovata], [Ptilostemon hispanicus], locally distributed in calcareous areas of the Serrania de Ronda and satellite ranges in southern Spain.
