Deep soil, acidocline sub-Mediterranean xeric grasslands of the Adriatic façade of the Balkan peninsula, characteristic of the northern Quarnero-Istrian coastal area, with Euphorbia nicaeensis, Potentilla pedata, Potentilla cinerea, Dianthus carthusianorum.
