Description (English)

Relatively short grasslands of lower mountain slopes of northern Scandinavia and of lowlands and hills of Iceland dominated by Agrostis capillaris or Anthoxanthum odoratum, with Polygonum viviparum (Bistorta vivipara) and Carex bigelowii. These grasslands are strongly influenced by, and perhaps entirely dependent on, grazing or mowing.
