Thickets of Tamarix boveana, Tamarix canariensis or, sometimes, Tamarix gallica of the Mediterranean basin, accompanied by typical salt marsh flora, in particular, Arthrocnemum fruticosum, Arthrocnemum glaucum, Suaeda brevifolia, Halimione portulacoides, Atriplex halimus, Atriplex hastata, Limonium lactibracteatum, Limonium eugeniae, Limonium cossonianum, Limonium angustibracteanum, Limonium sinuatum, Inula crithmoides.
