Description (English)

Bryophyte and encrusting lichen communities of lime-poor, often intermittent, springs of the high-alpine level of Palaearctic mountains of the Alpine system, formed by the lichen Dermatocarpon rivulorum and the mosses Brachythecium glaciale, Schistidium rivulare.
