Description (English)

Formations occupying permanently waterlogged peaty soils of glacial depressions and edges of their small lakes, and also waterholes in Nardus grasslands, at the oro-Mediterranean level of the Sierra Nevada, dominated by Carex intricata, with Carex echinata, Eleocharis uniglumis, Viola palustris, Cerastium cerastoides, Veronica repens and Sierra Nevadan endemics Ranunculus alismoides, Festuca frigida, Pinguicula nevadensis, Leontodon microcephalus.
