Flarks (long narrow bog pools) of aapa mires of the Palaearctic domaine with bottom communities limited to carpets of acidocline or basicline sphagna, in particular, Sphagnum lindbergii, Sphagnum balticum, Sphagnum majus, Sphagnum subsecundum, Sphagnum jensenii, Sphagnum riparium, Sphagnum dusenii, Sphagnum tenellum.
