Description ( English )

Dense, low formations, typified by an abundant turf layer of [Sphagnum contortum], [Sphagnum flexuosum], [Sphagnum subsecundum], [Sphagnum acutifolium], [Sphagnum squarrosum] and the presence of [Drosera rotundifolia], [Pinguicula balcanica] or [Equisetum fluviatile]. Other important elements of this habitat are mosses [Aulacomnium palustre], [Scorpidium vernicosum], [Philonotis fontana] and vascular plants [Carex echinata], [Carex curta], [Parnassia palustris], [Potentilla erecta], [Eriophorum angustifolium].
