Nitrophilous annual and perennial grass and sedge formations of the alluvial banks of Mediterranean permanent or temporary water courses, most characteristic of great Mediterranean rivers, with Paspalum paspalodes, Paspalum vaginatum, Polypogon viridis (Agrostis semiverticillata), Cyperus fuscus, Catabrosa aquatica. Vegetation of alliance Paspalo-Agrostidion.
