Description (English)

Evergreen coniferous forest of timberlines in the mountains of the Balkans and southern Italy, dominated by Bosnian pine (Pinus heldreichii) on base-rich soils in more sunny and drought-prone situations or by Macedonian pine (P. peuce) on siliceous soils.
