Description ( English )
Meso-, thermo- and occasionally supra-Mediterranean maquis of Iberia, southern France and western Mediterranean North Africa, in which the tall, large-flowered [Cistus ladanifer] is prominent. Included are more or less dense, homogeneous fields of [Cistus ladanifer], which can be identified by addition of digit 1 in the fourth decimal place of any of the subdivisions below, and more varied formations dominated by tall clumps of [Cistus ladanifer], which can be identified by addition of digit 2 in the fourth decimal place of these subdivisions.
