Facies with Ophelia bicornis
Description (English)
This facies of the mediolittoral sands is characterised by the abundance of the annelid polychaete Ophelia bicornis. In the Black Sea this facies is characterised by the predominant presence of Ophelia bicornis and a minor amount of Donacilla cornea and other amphipods present in mediolittoral coarse sands.
