Description (English)

Meso-xerophile grasslands of Central Europe with Astragalus danicus, Inula spiraeifolia, Seseli annuum, Linum spp., Carex michelii, Carex praecox, Carex flacca. Varied plant communities of grasses and herbs mostly in basins and uplands. As a consequence of pasture, a mesophilous tendency often includes widespread Juniperus communis. Vegetation of alliance Carduo-Brachypodion pinnati, common species are Brachypodium pinnatum, Festuca rupicola, Cirsium pannonicum, Linum flavum, Potentilla alba, Bromus erectus, Coronilla varia, Buphthalmum salicifolium and Campanula glomerata.
