East Carpathian Festuca versicolor grasslands

Description (English)

Calcicolous, xero-thermophile, open grasslands of the alpine and subalpine levels of the southeastern Carpathians, on shallow rendzinas of crests, summits and ledges, dominated by Festuca versicolor and Carex sempervirens, with Sesleria rigida ssp. haynaldiana, Cerastium transsilvanicum.
