Fraxinus - Alnus forests of fast-flowing rivers

Description (English)

Alder or ash-alder galleries of the banks of fast-flowing rivers and large brooks replacing the peri-Alpine Alnus incana galleries in hills of middle Europe away from the direct influence of alpine rivers and north to Denmark and southern Sweden.
