Illyrian thermophile Fagus forests
Description (English)
Thermophilous and often calcicolous Fagus sylvatica forests of the Dinarides and of associated ranges and hills, with outliers and irradiations in the southeastern Alps and in the mid-Pannonic hills, characterized by the presence of Ostryo-Carpinion orientalis or Fraxino orni-Ostryion species.
