Pannonic collinar woodrush Fagus forests
Description (English)
Acidophilous Fagus sylvatica forests of Pannonic hills, mixed with Betula pendula and Quercus petraea, with a poorly developed shrub layer, an herb layer rich in Luzula luzuloides, Deschampsia flexuosa, Hieracium silvaticum, Monotropa hypopitys, Pyrola spp., and without Cyclamen purpurascens or Galium rotundifolium, a rich moss cover comprising Polytrichum spp., Dicranum scoparium, Leucobryum glaucum, Hylocomium proliferum.
