Description (English)

Quercus cerris-dominated forest formations of the supra-Mediterranean, montane and, locally, meso-Mediterranean levels of the Lucanian and Calabrian Apennines, with a distribution centreed on the Basilicata, and of Monte Gargano, on siliceous or calcareous substrates.
