Description (English)
Extensive Quercus frainetto-dominated forests of the hills and low mountain slopes of the mountains of north eastern Greece including the Pindus, the Moeso-Macedonian mountains, the Rhodope mountains, the Thessalian mountains, in particular of the supra-Mediterranean level of northern and middle Greece (Macedonia, Thrace, Epiros, Thessaly, Central Greece), of the xerothermal oak belt of southern and southwestern Bulgaria, of the North Macedonia and of Albania.
