Baetic Quercus faginea forests
Description (English)
Southern forests of the sub-humid to humid supra-Mediterranean level of calcareous Baetic ranges, limited to a few enclaves in the Serrania de Ronda and the ranges of the upper Guadalquivir basin, dominated by Quercus faginea associated with Acer granatense, Acer monspessulanum, Sorbus aria, Sorbus torminalis, Taxus baccata and sometimes Quercus pyrenaica.
