Pontic Acer tataricum - Quercus pubescens steppe forests
Description (English)
Subcontinental, xerophile-thermophile wooded steppe oak woods, on leached chernozem soils, of low hills and plains of eastern and southern Romania, with Quercus pubescens, Acer tataricum, Pyrus pyraster in the tree layer, Cotinus coggygria in the shrub layer and Buglossoides purpurocaerulea (Lithospermum purpurocaeruleum), Carex michelii, Thalictrum minus, Festuca rupicola, Vicia tenuifolia in the herb layer.
