Pannonic Juniperus - Populus steppe forests

Description (English)

Populus alba woods of sands, in particular sand dunes, of the Danube-Tisza confluence of the Pannonic plain. The shrub layer includes Juniperus communis, Ligustrum vulgare, Rhamnus catharticus, Crataegus monogyna, Prunus spinosa, Prunus mahaleb, Rubus caesius, Euonymus verrucosus, Berberis vulgaris.
