Siberian steppe Betula forests

Description (English)

Open, often parklike, woods of Betula pendula, Betula platyphylla or Betula pubescens s.l. of the transition zone between steppe and taiga of Siberia, east of the range of the nemoral deciduous forests of the Sarmatic region.
