Thermo-Mediterranean cork-oak forest

Description (English)

Subhumid thermo-Mediterranean forests and woodlands of the southwestern Iberian peninsula, occurring in sandy coastal areas of western Andalusia and the Algarve, as well as at lower elevations of the sierras of the Campo de Gibraltar, immediately below the following formation, and characterized by the presence of Olea europaea var. sylvestris and other thermo-Mediterranean elements.
