Western Quercus rotundifolia forest
Description (English)
Forests and woodland of Quercus rotundifolia occupying mostly siliceous soils of the meso- and supra-Mediterranean areas of the western Meseta and neighbouring regions under more Atlantic, though generally dry, climates. Well-preserved examples are rare, most of the remaining wooded areas being under dehesa (84.5) regime.
