Description (English)

Pinus sylvestris woods of dolomites and dolomite rendzinas of the Dinarides of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia and Slovenia, with Erica herbacea (Erica carnea), Galium lucidum, Genista januensis, Aquilegia vulgaris, Buphthalmum salicifolium, Teucrium chamaedrys, Carex humilis, Anthericum ramosum, Cyclamen purpurascens, Polygala chamaebuxus, Hepatica nobilis, Geranium sanguineum, Helleborus niger ssp. macranthus, Epipactis atrorubens, Carex alba. They are developed within the Illyrian beech forest zone and often occupy somewhat higher elevations than the similar dolomite Pinus nigra woods of unit T36614.
