Pinus leucodermis forests

Description (English)

Local treeline formations of Pinus heldreichii or Pinus leucodermis restricted to the southern Balkans, northern Greece and southern Italy, usually open and with an undergrowth formed by stripped grasslands on dry, often stony or rocky soils.
