Pinus canariensis - dry scrub forests
Description (English)
Forests of dry, south-facing slopes of the Canary islands developed in the lower part of the Pinus canariensis belt, transitional towards juniper formations and their degradation scrubs, with an undergrowth often formed by Cistus monspeliensis, Euphorbia obtusifolia ssp. regis-jubae, Salvia canariensis, Micromeria hyssopifolia, Echium aculeatum.
