Description (English)

Forests of Picea abies or Picea obovata, or of Picea spp. with Pinus sylvestris, of Fennoscandia, Russia west of the western Ural piedmont, Belarus, the Baltic States, with an understorey dominated by ferns accompanied by ericaceous shrubs or phanerogamic herbs, by mosses and lichens.
