Description (English)
Chionophilous communities of boreal and arcto-alpine Palaearctic mountains and of islands of the polar basin dominated by, or rich in, Salix polaris, associated with mosses and small forbs, developed, at least in the boreal and arcto-alpine regions, on calcareous substrates.
