Ecomorphosis of "barrier-reef" Posidonia oceanica meadows
Description (English)
This ecomorphosis can be found in Posidonia oceanica beds present in sheltered bays. The vertical growth of the rhizomes leads to the raising of the mat, thus enabling the meadow to reach the surface.
