Description (English)
Deciduous thickets of the Illyrian region of northeastern Italy and the western Balkan peninsula, substitution communities of the Carpinion betuli illyricum (unit T1E1A), Fagion illyricum (unit G1.6C of EUNIS 2012 split in T17A and T184) or Ostryo-Carpinion adriadicum (units T193, T194) climax vegetation woodlands.
