Monchique Ulex argenteus gorse-heaths
Description (English)
Ulex argenteus ssp. argenteus-dominated or -rich formations of low slopes of the Serra da Monchique and neighbouring areas of Algarve and southwest Alentejo, usually with Cistus ladanifer. The gorse is endemic to the area.
