Description (English)
Willow thickets or scrubs of mires of the mountains of the boreal zone of the Palaearctic region, characteristically forming along fen margins, on their hummocks or strings, sometimes in their lawns, with an understorey of dwarf shrubs, herbs, mosses and sphagna.
