Bare boreal and arctic siliceous inland cliff

Description (English)

Siliceous rocks and cliffs of lowlands, hills and mountains of non-desert regions of the boreal and arctic. Their lichen communities are composed of external crustose lichens (Rhizocarpon), navel lichens (Umbilicaria) and fruticose lichens (Ramalina, Cornicularia, Rhizoplaca).
