Mixed infauna dominated by polychaetes in Atlantic abyssal mud
Description (English)
All infaunal communities in the deep-sea are dominated by polychaete species with a diverse range of other taxa including bivalves, amphipods and sipunculids. Species level data were not available for analysis and at family level it was not possible to define more distinct groups for infauna.
