Carex lasiocarpa swards
Description (English)
Transition mire communities of boreal and western nemoral regions dominated by the medium sized Carex lasiocarpa, associated with either sphagna or pleurocarps and often accompanied by Eriophorum gracile, Menyanthes trifoliata, usually forming floating meadows. Vegetation of alliance Caricetum lasiocarpae.
