Description (English)

Communities of the margins of Palaearctic lakes, inland seas and sea inlets, rivers and brooks, eutrophic marshes, swamps and ditches dominated by medium or medium-tall helophyte Poaceae of genera Glyceria, Leersia, Socolochloa or Calamagrostis. The further division of this unit is based on dominance by species of these genera.
