Plankton communities of eutrophic standing waters
Description (English)
Free-floating microscopic plant (phytoplankton) and animal (zooplankton) organisms of very muddy, non-pellucid waters of standing eutrophic waters. Phytoplankton is represented mainly by algae of the groups Bacillariophyta and Chlorophyta, rarely also by Euglenophyta, Pyrrophyta, zooplankton by Chrysophyta; Cladocera, Copepoda and Rotatoria.
