Boreal Picea swamp forests
Description (English)
Woods of wet mineral or parapeaty soils of the western Palaearctic taiga zone dominated by Picea abies or Picea obovata, with an understorey formed by tall or short herbs, ferns, horsetails and gramineous species, sometimes associated with ericoid shrubs.
