   Hedgerows are separated between those mainly composed of species exotic to their location (e.g. Californian Leyland Cypress <strong>x Cupressocyparis leylandii</strong>) (path = <strong>mainly exotic</strong>), and those mainly consisting of native species (path = <strong>mainly native</strong>).

Question f22 :   Management intensity
   Hedgerows mainly of native species managed intensively (e.g. by regular trimming) (path = <strong>high</strong>) are separated from those subject to little or no management (path = <strong>low</strong>).

Question f23 :   Species number
   Hedges which are rich in shrub species and ground flora (path = <strong>many</strong>) are separated from those dominated by one or two shrub species (path = <strong>few</strong>).
